It is connecting with nature and understanding our environment. It cannot be underestimated how healing that in itself can be.
Being truely listened to, whether that be spoken or silently through listening touch, it is rare to make time for in our busy lives.
But Shiatsu also has a rich history with many influences and a whole host of tools that can be drawn from making it a rich and versatile art that can aid in our healing and wellbeing.
Working with the extended meridian system of energy paths through us using palm and finger pressure, stretches and points we aim to remind the body how to flow freely and heal.

Shiatsu is a Japanese form of bodywork that involves applying pressure to specific points on the body. It’s based on the principles of traditional Chinese medicine, which believe that energy (called Qi or Ki) flows through the body along specific meridians.
